Phoenix SFS are proud to announce the successful completion of works at theBAM Nuttall Darlington Station New Link Bridge and Station Refurbishment — a challenging yet rewarding project and an important development for the local area.
Initially appointed to deliver the SFS package, our team worked closely alongside FRAMECLAD LIMITED to design, coordinate and construct a range of elements including lift shafts, footbridge structures, plant rooms, infill and loadbearing SFS systems, utilising the Benx Façades Y-Wall system.
As the project progressed, our scope diversified into Drylining and Specialist Ceiling Finishes, delivering high-quality suspended ceiling installations in partnership with OWA UK Ltd. and SAS International. This included the installation of the Elapto Mesh Ceiling System in RAL8029 Pearl Copper, alongside bespoke SAS 720 and 760 systems in RAL7035 Light Grey, helping bring the station’s modern finish to life.
A special mention goes to operatives Daz Burkinshaw and Tim Parker for their attention to detail and commitment throughout the SFS and ceiling installations — a commendable effort from both.
A huge thank you to the BAM Nuttall site teams for their ongoing support and for trusting Phoenix to deliver on such a significant and high-profile project.
